I’ve traveled to Socotra twice with Abdullah and his tour company and both times were excellent. “Anything is possible” according to Abdullah and it is true—he will make your Socotra dreams come true. Abdullah’s family has been in Socotra for over 300 years—he knows this island! My first trip I spent 2 weeks traveling Socotra with another woman, and I felt like I was traveling with family…in all the best ways. I just returned from a shorter trip with 5 other women and 1 man, and the trip was just as memorable. Abdullah, Faisal, Adman and the rest of the staff are kind, honest, and friendly hosts. This is THE tour company to see Socotra!

I have just returned from an incredible trip to the island of Socotra, organised by Socotra H Tours. I cannot recommend Al Hamed and his team of enthusiastic, passionate, and knowledgeable guides and drivers enough. Every day was action-packed, well thought out, and well planned. We covered the whole island and had the best camping spots and delicious food.
I’m not normally one for guided excursions, but our guide gave us the perfect amount of space while still making us feel very well taken care of.
One of the many reasons I’ve booked through Socotra H Tours is because the whole company, from its management to its drivers and guides, are from Socotra. Not only does this mean their employees know the island better than anyone, but it’s also important to remember where your money is going. Every penny stays on the island, not in the bank account of some foreign entity.
